The problem

Running the screens at a service or a hybrid event is a team job under time pressure. Someone is queueing song lyrics, someone else is finding a reading, a third person is managing the stream, and the content has to be right on the hall screens, the confidence monitor and the online broadcast at the same moment. Desktop presentation tools were built for one person at one screen.

What we built

Chapel Screen is a browser-based platform where a whole team edits and drives one presentation together.

  • Real-time collaborative editing with live cursors, so everyone sees changes as they happen.
  • Multi-channel broadcasting: different content to the hall, the stream and phones in the room.
  • Synchronised video playback across every output.
  • Bible verse lookup, song lyric search, custom themes and a countdown timer built in.
  • Offline resilience, so a dropped connection never blanks the screen mid-service.

Why it matters for your project

Real-time multi-user state, conflict-free editing and reliable output under flaky network conditions are hard problems. We solved them in our own product before applying them to client work.
